The Metropolitan Youth Orchestra of New York, conducted by Phil Preddice, will perform Peter Boyer’s Rolling River (Sketches on “Shenandoah”) at Carnegie Hall, New York City, on May 15, 2016. This will be the fifth time that one of Boyer’s works has been performed at this iconic concert hall.
Rolling River was commissioned and recorded by the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra and conductor John Morris Russell, and released on the CPO’s American Originals album in 2015.
