Peter Boyer’s work And the night shall be filled with music was performed by a choir numbering over 1,000 high school singers at the 67th annual Dorian Vocal Festival, at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. Jennaya Robison was the conductor.
And the night was originally commissioned and premiered by the Irvine High School Chorale and its former director Richard Messenger, and premiered with them at Carnegie Hall in 2005.
