SiriusXM Radio’s Symphony Hall channel invited Boyer to serve as guest host and curator for an episode of their Living American show. Many of America’s leading classical artists have served as guest hosts and curators for this show, including composers Steve Reich, John Adams, and John Corigliano; conductors Alan Gilbert, Leonard Slatkin, Gerard Schwarz, and Marin Alsop; performers Anne Akiko Meyers, Alisa Weilerstein, and the Kronos Quartet, among others.
For his episode of Living American, Boyer chose works by composers Jennifer Higdon, Kenneth Fuchs, and Morten Lauridsen, and several of his own works, in recordings with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Philharmonia Orchestra, and the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra. The show premiered on May 19, 2020, with several repeats scheduled on the Symphony Hall channel.
